Thoughtful and creative language services in German–English–Polish (and sometimes French)
Intercultural communication is important, and small linguistic nuances can make a big difference. I offer tailor-made solutions: whether certified documents or literary texts, a website, an exhibition catalogue or the diary of a long-deceased relative – my translations are based on expertise and sensitivity. As an experienced interpreter and moderator, I facilitate stress-free communication across language barriers. Words and ideas reach new audiences best with professionalism and creativity.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
I love AI and use it constantly. However, chatbots have not yet developed some key abilities. They do not ask the right questions and, in the worst case, hallucinate. What I offer—besides state-certified accuracy—is critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and confident creativity. I also have a body and a voice that I use with empathy when moderating and interpreting. To ensure that my translated texts sound really good, I read them aloud and play with rhythm and assonance. Additionally, I am well-connected and know when and where to find the right sources and inspiration. So far, I do not feel threatened by AI; rather, I use it to achieve the best results as quickly as possible.
Certified Translation DE<>EN
My stamp confirms that a translation is accurate and complete. I do this for documents, certificates, court judgments – always professionally and at fair prices.
Interpreting
This way for interpreting services.
Literary Translation
I translate fiction, poetry, song lyrics, as well as personal documents such as letters and diaries.
Multilingual moderation
I really enjoy moderating readings, discussions and panels that combine multiple languages. And I also love young audiences!
Practical texts
Websites, information brochures, educational materials, film subtitles, etc. must be adapted to the target audience. This is where my creativity comes into play.
Academic translation
Trade books and publications in the humanities and social sciences, museum catalogues, historical texts, analytical journalism – anything that requires careful research.
Call me Dr Bhambry. Or just Tuesday.
I am a state-certified translator for German<>English authorised by the Berlin Regional Court. As a member of Germany's leading translators' association, the the BDÜ, I always stay up to date and have access to a wide range of resources, which also benefits my clients. I have a flair for good writing and I'm at home with text analysis, academic writing and project management. I also offer editorial support and can put you in touch with English-language publishers.

Some of my previous clients
My main clients include European universities and research institutions, foundations and NGOs. I also work for small associations – often at solidarity rates – and for direct clients. I volunteer one hour per week to provide cost-free certified translations to people who cannot otherwise afford them.

Every project is different. For academic publications, I combine my know-how as a translator with my expertise as a researcher in the humanities. I bring my own values to texts on politics and society. In literary translations, I let my feelings and my voice resonate. Whichever the approach it takes – my work satisfies clients with the highest standards.

Tuesday's sensitivity and commitment to translating an anti-discrimination website impressed us all. With a broad knowledge of the subject, she found creative solutions to adapt to the cultural context of the target language and proactively contributed great ideas on the style and structure of the texts. Everything on time and always constructive and friendly. We'd be very happy to work with her again!

Anda Rottenberg
Curator
One of Tuesday’s great talents is that she approaches texts with fundamental respect and curiosity. She questions the material deeply. Tuesday is an invaluable resource and an inspiring interlocutor.
